FUND-A-NEED
Immediate Care. Daily Dignity. This fund sustains the core services that keep our doors open and our community safe. It supports crisis response, basic needs coordination, and access to food, hygiene supplies, clothing, and a welcoming place for neighbors experiencing homelessness or housing instability. Essential Services are the foundation that restores dignity, reduces harm, and builds the trust necessary for long-term stability.
From the Street to Stability. Housing is more than a roof-it is the turning point. This fund moves individuals into permanent housing and provides the support needed to keep them there, including rental assistance, landlord mediation, and eviction prevention. With a 90% stabilization rate, this investment changes life trajectories and ends the daily trauma of survival on the streets.
Food Security for Our Neighborhood. This fund ensures families, seniors, and individuals have reliable access to healthy groceries during a time of rising costs. When food from the pantry is secured, rent can be paid, medications can be purchased, and isolation is reduced. The pantry nourishes not only bodies, but stability, dignity, and hope across our community.
Dignity Beyond Our Doors. This fund supports neighborhood clean-ups, stewardship efforts, and community partnerships that foster pride and shared responsibility. It also provides clients with opportunities to build life and employment skills through hands-on work that strengthens confidence and purpose. Together, these efforts create a safer, more welcoming environment for everyone.
Turning Housing into Home. An empty apartment is not yet a home. This fund provides the essential furnishings and personal touches-a bed, dishes, a lamp, cleaning supplies that transform four walls into a place of rest and belonging. It represents the progression from crisis to stability, rooted in dignity.
